Field Shelters

"A horse must be kept in a field with sturdy fencing (not barbed wire) and must have access to a shelter at all times." RSPCA/BHS Horse Care Code est. in 1995.

Under most circumstances Mobile Field Shelters do not require planning permission.

Our Field Shelters and Loose Boxes are hand made to order, with complete flexibility in terms of openings and sizes. We use highest quality pressure treated timber throughout and the mobile shelters have a choice of painted steel or pressure treated wooden skids. Kickboards and a Sadolin woodstain finish are included as standard.  Painted steel tow bars are standard and they can be fitted with pin down lugs to secure to the ground in extreme weather.

As with all or Stables and Shelters, the panels are constructed 400mm to the centre, as opposed to 600mm, given a much stronger and durable building.

Shelters can have partitions added and stable door kits to make a fully mobile stable if required.

Our Field Shelters, although competitively priced, are not the cheapest on the market but they are built to last!  Please contact us for further advice and information.
