Specifications
Although all our buildings are made to order and
therefore each building is unique the following materials are
standard across all our designs and are included in the
price:
50mm x 75mm FSC sourced pressure treated softwood
framework.
19mm x 126mm FSC sourced treated softwood shiplap exterior.
Exterior treated with Sadolin Superdec in the colour/stain of your
choice.
18mm Wayrock chipboard flooring throughout.
Interiors
Our buildings can be finished internally to your
specification, whether they are left unlined to 1st fix or
insulated and plasterboard lined. They can be finished to 2nd fix
(i.e. filled and painted to the colour of your choice) if you are
based within a 75 mile radius. As every client has different
requirements and indeed different uses for their garden building,
each finish is unique. For example, if you prefer a different
interior (i.e. tongue and groove or ply lined) we will be happy to
undertake whatever finish you require. Insulation too can be a
variety of materials including standard dry wall, Eco sheep wool
(thermafleece) or soundproofed. Please contact us for a free quotation or
advice. We can also construct interior benches, desks and mezzanine
flooring.
Although we don't have our own electricians, plumbers and landscapers we have a reliable team that we use on a regular basis who will be happy to come and give you a separate quotation for the work involved. We will then project manage the construction on your behalf at no extra cost.
Roofing
We have completed a varied range of roofing styles for our
Clients. Our standard roofing is felt but we also undertake
corrugated onduline, cedar tiles, clay pan tiles and felt tiles in
a variety of colours. We are also able to offer our clients the
option of a green/sedum roof.
Flooring
Our 1st fix flooring is 18mm Wayrock chipboard, included in the
price as standard. If you would like a 2nd fix floor we offer a
pre-engineered Oak flooring finish. If you have another style of
flooring in mind, please call us for advice and a quotation.
Windows and doors
Our standard windows for sheds and wendy houses are made from plastic safety glass. Our garden offices and studios are normally finished in double-glazed softwood timber framed windows to each clients specification.
Our doors can be solid wood or double glazed with any style of window you prefer. Please browse our gallery page to see the wide variety of styles and finishes.
