GD buildings can be constructed to any size with a wide variety of design possibilities. Whether you are looking to install a Garage, Barn or Games Room we can help give you inspiration in designing your building.
We use treated softwood shiplap boarding as standard, but you can specify feather edged boarding if desired or alternative finishes such as Oak cladding to create a more traditional feel. Buildings can be combined with workshops or offices and can be designed to match existing architecture. As everything we do is totally bespoke you can also request a variety of roofing and guttering finishes, window and door styles and, of course, the building will be painted or stained to the finish of your choice.
We will require a concrete base, as specified, ready to take the completed timber building. Detailed drawings may be supplied by us. Alternatively, if you live locally, we can recommend a landscaping company to carry out your groundworks and they will be happy to give you a quotation based on a site visit. As an example, this recently completed Oak clad 'L' shaped Barn was designed for a Client who wanted somewhere warm and dry for his sheep but could also be used as a workshop and storage area. It measures 12m x 8m and has a Cedar tiled roof. It has 3 conservation windows in the roof for extra light and an internal mezzanine floor to maximize the space. A similar sized building would cost in the region of £35,000.
This 'Barn Style' Garden Studio in Storrington with Cedar Tile roof measures 3m x 4m (10' x 14'). It has a stable door and 2 conservation roof lights.
